Funding rounds

Companies that just raised, and who decides there.

View Markdown

In the API this is the signal type funding_raised (Leads that raised funding). You run it with the same route as every signal: a search.

What it finds

Companies that announced a funding round in the last 30 days (or window_days), in the countries you choose, each with its latest round. Turn them into people with POST /v1/leads. The company raised the money, not the person.

Rows and price

  • One row per company, as the source shows it, with no AI judging it: you decide which rows fit.
  • At most 100 rows per search, 25 unless you send limit; more with cursor. 1 credit per row.
  • A search that delivers nothing is free.

The signal object

Send it as signal in the body of POST /searches. The other fields of the body are on Start a search.

  • type string · required — Always funding_raised.
  • countries string[] · required — Countries of the company that raised (ISO 3166-1 alpha-2; UK is accepted for GB), not of the person. 1 to 20 items. 78 values: the list is in Get a signal type (GET /signals/funding_raised).
  • rounds string[] — Round types; empty or missing = any round. One of: pre_seed, angel, seed, series_a, series_b, series_c, series_d, series_e, series_f, series_g, series_unknown.
  • window_days integer — How many days back the round may be announced, 1 to 30. Defaults to 30.

Limits

  • Only the countries listed under parameters.properties.countries are covered.
  • The round data refreshes once a day, around 14:15 Europe/Brussels, so rounds announced today may be missing.
  • amount and investors are often null: we never guess them.

Run it

  • Once: Start a search (POST /searches). Preview a search shows the most it can cost first. The rows are in List search results.
  • To follow it: run the search again, for example every week. There are no watches.
  • From companies to people: the search returns the companies. Find people at companies (POST /leads) turns them into the people you sell to.
  • From your assistant: the Signals MCP server (MCP) runs it with search_signals.
